The first official day of spring heralds the arrival of the National Cherry Blossom Festival, which begins today and continues through April 14. There aren’t any blossoms yet â€" in fact, the National Park Service revised its peak bloom prediction to April 3-6 â€" but there are plenty of blossom-related events, beginning with tonight’s Pink Tie Party.

But there will be blossoms at some point soon, and when the buds burst, tourists and locals alike will be flooding the Tidal Basin with cameras, sketchpads and picnic baskets. Whether this is your first springtime in Washington or you just need a refresher in where the blossoms are congregated, the map above should serve as your guide.
